Higher Coursework - Ecris sur l'Environnement

This term we are working on the 4th of 5 pieces of Coursework needed for the GCSE. All 5 pieces of Coursework must be finished by the first week of March, which is when they have to be sent off to the WJEC for assessment.

Ecris sur L'Environnement must be written and marked before half term - aim to be ready to write them on Monday 12 February.

Remember the following points:

• You must write 120-150 words
• This Coursework is worth 30 marks rather than the usual 20
• This is a more sophisticated, Higher tier piece of work where you must:
• argue effectively,
• include points of view and opinions,
• have a well-structured piece of work that comprises an introduction, middle and final paragraph that follows a logical argument
• You must include sophisticated sentence constructions, ie use linking words
• You must use different tenses to show off your skills in French
